This stage I did from north to south. In other words, I started at the end of the stage as it was easier logistically speaking. I started the route on the CV-590, km 32.7 (next to a signpost clearly indicating we were on the GR7), visiting the following places (within the area of Enguera):
Serra d’Enguera, La Fraila, La Merita, El Chorrillo, Barranco de la Hoz, El Palmosillo, Lo Surrac and La Boixa (Barranco de Boquella)
Travelling from north to south, the first part of the walk is easy over a flat plain and you can move pretty fast (if you want). At the beginning, you go through a small wood, but the rest of time you’re on an open plain. After a while, you descend rapidly into the valley below. By following my trail, you should have no problems. If you are doing south to north, you would ascend first and then make your way across the open plain. At the bottom of the descent, you come across Casa Chorillo (a semi-ruined house) that could be a wonderful home. Spain is full of ruined buildings that could be fantastic places to live.
